The 13 day 'Blue Danube Discovery' takes in some of the most exciting cities and intriguing towns in Central Europe including Budapest in Hungary, Austria's Vienna and Salzburg, Regensburg and Nuremberg in Germany and Prague in the Czech Republic.

Spend two days exploring the livliest and most cosmopolitan metropolis of Eastern Europe, Budapest, Hungary before boarding your luxurious river cruise ship where you can unpack and settle into your spacious stateroom.

As the cruise meanders along the river and navigates its way through a series of ancient and modern locks you will have plenty of time to soak up the ever-changing views.

There is no time wasted in traffic or trying to park, with the ship often able to dock in the centre of towns that sprang up around river commerce, allowing you to see the numerous attractions by foot or wander into a cafe and meet with the locals.

Walking tours with local guides are provided in each city as well as entry to major attractions such as Vienna's famous St Stephen's Cathedral, Prague's Hradcany Castle and Melk's magnificient baroque Benedictine Abbey.

Enjoy city sightseeing in Nuremberg before travelling by coach to Prague where you will tour all the main sights and have two days to explore, shop or just relax on your own.
